In the penalties, Lionel Messi started the scoring streak for the team from Florida. His teammates Farias, Ruiz, Martinez and Cremaski also made no mistake from the penalty spot. Kubo, Arias, Santosh and Miazga were accurate for Cincinnati, but Hagglund missed the fifth penalty and the victory was for Inter Miami.
