The Sky Blues’ head coach, Pep Guardiola, has admitted he told his footballers they will get a “once in a lifetime” chance to take home the Club World Cup trophy on Friday.

The Premier League team advanced to the match for the trophy after a 3-0 victory against Urawa Red Diamonds in their ½ final today.
They will play against South American champions Fluminense in Friday’s final in Saudi Arabia.
The Sky Blues are the big favorite to win their 5th title in 2023, but Pep has warned his players against taking it for granted.
“Our team will dine together, create an environment where everyone knows how important the match is for the entire team,” said Guardiola.
“As I said, to play in the match for the trophy at the Club World Cup, you have to do phenomenal things and triumph with the UCL. Once we’re here, it’s a title you play for once in a lifetime.
