Manchester City destroyed Bayern Munich 3-0 in the Champions League 1st leg quarterfinal, but that left Pep Guardiola emotionally destroyed.
The manager of Man. City said after the match that he feels ten years older after this game, but the result was wonderful.
“Emotionally, I’m destroyed,” Pep told a post-game news conference.
“I have [aged] 10 more years today. It was such a demanding match. Now I have to relax, take 24 hours off for the guys, and prepare for Leicester [on Saturday].
The Spanish manager also added that his team must play at the highest level in Germany because Bayern can also beat them with a huge result.
Manchester City had 44.6% of possession against Bayern Munich, the least possession they have had at the Etihad since Pep Guardiola took charge.

Rodri, Bernardo Silva, and Erling Haaland scored for the victory at the Etihad Stadium. If a miracle doesn’t happen in the 2nd leg in Munich, City will advance to the ½ finals of the Champions League.
