Sergio Perez will be in the 1st position at the start of the Crypto.com Miami GP as misfortune, including Charles Leclerc in the last minutes of the qualification, led to a red flag and caused Max Verstappen to finish 9th.
The Mexican pilot had the fastest time on his 1st of 2 tries in Q3, while Max had an error and didn’t set a time.

Charles, who will start 7, made a mistake in his 2nd attempt to set a better time, and his Ferrari struck the barriers. With less than 2 minutes, that means that the qualification is over.
Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin) will start 2nd, while Carlos Sainz (Ferrari) will be 3rd at the start tomorrow at Miami International Autodrome.
That’s one tasty looking grid for Sunday 😋#MiamiGP #F1 pic.twitter.com/p0sGFaNHmS
