Interim manager Antonio Pierce is now the leading candidate to become the full-time boss of the Las Vegas Raiders, with the support of the crucial footballers there.
Safe to say: The players are united around Antonio Pierce. Led by Maxx Crosby, that’s been communicated to #Raiders owner Mark Davis.
But if someone other than Antonio Pierce is the choice, Crosby’s trade request would have wide-ranging ramifications. https://t.co/D61lDBQGvr

There will be other candidates for the franchise’s owner, Mark Davis, to consider, but as how things stand at the moment, it would be a huge surprise if Pierce is not the final choice.
Las Vegas has not done any other head-coaching interviews. They think about Michigan boss Jim Harbaugh, but the favorite remains Antonio. However, Pierce will have an interview with Tennessee today.
After the team’s campaign-ending 27-14 win against the Denver Broncos, owner Davis shared with the media that he is really happy with what the interim coach did in leading the Raiders to a 5-4 record at the helm after replacing Josh McDaniels.
Las Vegas superstar Davante Adams claimed that he would “run through a wall for Pierce.”
