Detroit Pistons leader Cade Cunningham has reached a new 6-year endorsement agreement to re-ink with Nike and will get his own signature shoe with the brand.
Code’s signature shoe is expected to debut during the 2nd half of next campaign.
Cunningham becomes the 6th active basketballer in the NBA to have a signature shoe deal with Nike, joining LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Ja Morant, Devin Booker, and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Cade, a 1st-time NBA All-Star and 3rd-team All-NBA player in the past season, has improved his game across the board in the current campaign, averaging career-highs in points – almost 28, almost 10 assists, and almost 1.5 steals to go along with almost 5.5 boards per match.
Detroit, which is in a series of 9 straight victories, is atop in the East at 11-2 as Cunningham is leading the team alongside center Jalen Duren.
Cade, who is 24 years old, was the 1st overall selection at the 2021 NBA Draft.
