Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino thinks it is good idea that the owners of the team go down to the dressing room more often.
“I like it when the owner comes into the dressing room. I think this is good. The most important thing is the way they approach the players,” Pochettino said.
“If they are coming in a good and encouraging way, then I think they are welcome… I don’t see it in a bad way. It’s always good for me if they share with us, the coaches. If they came for some kind of speech or something, then maybe that’s different. They own the club, they can do whatever they want.”
He expressed hope that Chelsea will improve their performance soon: “That is one of our goals this season. We have to think that this is an opportunity to win a trophy. Maybe the feelings after the defeat on Sunday are not the best, but I feel that it is on the way to continue to gain the confidence and trust of the players. It’s a different tournament and we have to change our mood. Yesterday and today we talked a lot – trying to give the team more confidence – and I think we will be ready for tomorrow.”
