Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that it is possible that he will not be Chelsea’s manager after the end of the campaign and shared that “It is not going to be the end of the world” if he leaves the team.
The Blues owners are waiting for the season to end before discussing the Argentinian head coach’s future at Stamford Bridge, where Poch will have a year left on his deal in the summer.
The North London club endured a disappointing campaign, but back-to-back EPL win against West Ham and Spurs have climbed them to the 7th place, and they are now in the fight for European football.
Mauricio answered that it’s not important if he will remain at Chelsea next campaign despite already planning for next season.
“The most crucial thing is to progress, working positively.”
Pochettino added that it’s not going to be the 1st time that a coaching staff decides at the end of the campaign to leave. However, Mauricio understands that even if he wants to stay, the owners could fire him anytime, and there are 2 parts that make a decision.
