The North London side head coach Mauricio Pochettino has shared that it is “a matter of time” before his team starts to be successful and claimed that he “knows how to win trophies.”
The Argentinian became Chelsea’s head coach in the past summer and has inked 11 footballers since then, but the team has been struggling since the beginning of the campaign and is currently in the 2nd half in the Premier League standings in the 12th place.
A reporter asked Mauricio if managing the Blues was frustrating, and Pochettino gave a negative answer. “No, it is fantastic. I already know what it means to win trophies. At Spurs, everyone said to me, ‘win a trophy, win a trophy.’ I won 1 in Paris [the Ligue 1 title with PSG last year].
“We suffer after 5, 6 months, but that is a test. I think it’s a very positive thing for us, even if I am so upset. I feel unsatisfied because I want our team to be higher in the standings, but that is the challenge we will never give up on. It’s only a matter of time before we climb into the Premier League.
