Portugal trashed Luxembourg 9-0 in their Euro 2024 qualifying clash. The home side scored four before the half-time and didn’t slow the tempo for the second half, netting five more goals.
The show in Portugal started in the 12 minute when Goncalo Inacio collected a cross from Bruno Fernandes and left Moris no chance to save.

Just six minutes later Bernardo Silva found Goncalo Ramos and the PSG forward unleashed a terrific shot into the bottom right corner.
In the 34 minute Ramos scored his second after receiving the ball into the box from Rafael Leao. Right before the break Inacio also got his brace, scoring from a very different angle.
In the 58 minute Bruno Fernandes gave his second assist, letting Diogo Jot burst into space and score from the edge of the box before Ricardo Horta made it 6-0 with a great shot into the top right corner.

Portugal didn’t stop there and scored three more through Diogo Jotta, Bruno Fernandes and Joao Felix for the final 9-0 that was enough for Luxembourg’s manager who went into the tunnel before the final whistle.
