Todibo (24) was part of his team’s 2-1 win on Saturday against Rennes in Ligue 1 as scouts from all named Premier League clubs mentioned above watched him. Jean-Clair is one of the best defenders in the French league this campaign.
Barcelona signed him in 2019, but Todibo spent only 2 seasons with them as he failed to become 1st team player and decided to continue his career in Nice in 2021. However, he is doing very well with the French club, and his market value is currently around 45 million euros.
The Red Devils and the Magpies wanted him last year, but now the Reds also joined the race for him as they see him as a perfect replacement for Joel Matip, who has only 1 more year deal with Liverpool.
