Paris Saint-Germain will try to purchase Stade de France, L’Equipe claims. The sale of the facility should take place in the summer of 2025.
The negotiations with Paris City Hall for the possible purchase of the Parc des Princes were closed and the club is planning to get into the race for Stade de France, which has a capacity of 80,000 and its price, according to the state, is 647 million euros.
France published two bids for the Stade de France on March 7, one of which for a new concession, and applicants must submit documents by April 27 at 12:00 p.m. The stadium, which was built for the World Cup in 1998, has been managed so far by two giant companies – “Vinci” and “Buig”. PSG wanted to start a reconstruction of the Parc des Princes and increase its capacity from 47,000 to 58,000 seats, which would cost 500 million euros, but the negotiations with the Municipality came to a dead-end.
