Kylian sent a letter to his team in July, sharing that he doesn’t want to ink a new contract and will wait for the current one to expire in 2024. He also told that he doesn’t want the club to sell him to Real Madrid right now and is willing to wait one more season before going to the Royal club or signing a new deal with the PSG.
“We mustn’t allow the best player in the world to join a new club for free — we can’t allow that. This is a French team.
“Mbappé claimed he would never leave for free. If he decides otherwise tomorrow, I’m not the one to be blamed. If he doesn’t want to be part of the future of Paris Saint-Germain, we must receive compensation for that, that’s very clear.”
