PSG suspends Lionel Messi for 2 weeks after not authorized trip

Paris Saint-Germain decided to punish one of their biggest start Lionel Messi by suspending him from participating in group trainings and matches in a period of two weeks, Fabrizio Romano announced.

🚨 Paris Saint-Germain have decided to suspend Lionel Messi with immediate effect for two weeks, sources confirm.

The suspension will take place now after Messi’s trip to Saudi NOT authorized by the club as per @RMCSport.

The reason for the punishment of the Argentine superstar is the fact that he did not agree his  vacation in Saudi Arabia with the coaching staff and club’s directors. Lionel Messi skipped PSG training and visited the Middle Eastern country to fulfill his tourism ambassador commitment.
