Luis Enrique’s men were the dominant force all along as they found themselves in front in the 18th minute through Goncalo Ramos’ strike.
However the visitors were quick to respond as Takumi Minamino drew the game level only 4 minutes later.
A penalty-kick just before the half-time interval was calmly converted by Kylian Mbappe and the Parisiens were 2-1 up.
Quickfire goals from Ousmane Dembele and Vitinha gave the hosts a comfortable 4-1 advantage and more or less sealed Monaco’s fate.
The visitors responded as Folarin Balogun was on target, but it would proved to be a mere consolation as Muani rounded off the final scoreline of 5-2 deep into stoppage time.
With the win Luis Enrique cement their place atop of Ligue 1 with 30 points, four ahead of second-placed Nice.
