F1 governing body has announced that it has agreed terms with PUMA to become the sports new sponsor.
The contract contains that the brand will produce F1 licenced apparel, footwear and accessories as well as being authorized to sell F1 and team merchandise across different races.
The partnership will make PUMA the main supplier at F1 races, having already a history with the sport in the mid 1980s.
The deal will allow fans to purchase F1 commodities on the PUMA’s websites as well as the events of the races.
Speaking of the deal F1 CEO, Stefano Domenicali said:
“As F1 continues to grow around the world, we have been reaching new fans through exciting collaborations and are seeing the sport enter areas of mainstream culture we have not seen before. PUMA has a rich history in motorsport, making them the perfect fit for F1 as we take the sport’s apparel to the next level for fans on the street, drivers in the paddock, and everything else in between.”
