Emma Raducanu has undergone a third operation on her injured wrists as she has shared on social media.
The 20-year-old confirmed that this will be her final operation and she eyes long, but efficient recovery.
Raducano withdrew from the Madrid Open in April in order to heal the constant issues with her bones on the right hand.
‘It pains me that I will miss the summer events and I tried to downplay the issues so I thank all my fans who continued to support me when you did not know the facts. Look forward to seeing you all back out there.’ she shared via media.
Raducano rose to International stardom after sensationally winning the 2021 US Open at the age of 18. She will be looking to repeat that feat as soon as her recovery is complete.
