Rafa Nadal has surgery for his left hip

Rafael Nadal undergoes arthroscopic surgery for the problem that forced him to miss the French Open for the 1^st time ever in his career – left hip flexor.

The former world number 1, that won Roland-Garros record 14 times, had the surgery in Barcelona as his agent confirmed that 3 doctors performed the procedure.

Tomorrow we will have more information about the intervention, which also happened to be the birthday of Rafa Nadal, as he will become 37 years old.
