Ravens ink 2-time Pro Bowl safety Jackson

The Baltimore Ravens have inked 2-time Pro Bowl safety Eddie Jackson to a 1-year contract, the franchise shared today.

Eddie was cut on February 15^th by Chicago for the Bears to free up salary cap space.

A 4^th-round pick in 2017, the safety started all 100 matches he played in over 7 campaigns with the Bears. Jackson was a 2-time Pro Bowl pick and earned All-Pro honors in 2018 on the Chicago defense that carried the Bears to its latest NFC North title.

A foot problem shortened each of Eddie’s past 3 campaigns. He still appeared in at least 12 matches a year from 2021-22.

The safety (30) has totaled 15 picks, 44 passes defended, 10 forced fumbles and 459 tackles during his time in the NFL. Jackson is evened for 3^rd in Chicago organization history with 6 career defensive TDs, 5 of which came in his 1^st 2 campaigns.
