New Baltimore Ravens boss Jesse Minter shared he can’t wait to build a relationship with QB Lamar Jackson, as well as build a team around the 2-time NFL MVP.
“I can’t wait to get close to him and do my best to help him to become the best version of himself, creating a team that will enable Jackson to play even better, because Lamar is 1 of the best quarterbacks in the league,” the new Ravens head coach began.
“Our main goal will be to win the Super Bowl together, and I believe that’s possible.”
John Harbaugh spent 18 seasons as Baltimore’s head coach, but at the end of his tenure, rumors were that he had problems with Lamar. That’s why when John was dismissed earlier this month, it was no surprise to anyone, because the organization needs Lamar to reduce his almost 75 million dollar salary cap hit.
Jesse revealed that he already spoken with Lamar a few times since his appointment as the 4th boss in Ravens history several days ago.
Minter added that it takes time to build a relationship, but he can’t wait for that to happen with Jackson.
"I think I'm looking for a connector and an innovator, and a scheme builder around the best player in the world." ✍️
