The problems for the Baltimore Ravens continue since the tough start of the new campaign, as they will be again without QB Lamar Jackson for the weekend’s match vs. the LA Rams.
Lamar, a 2-time NFL MVP, was ruled out today by the Ravens for 2nd consecutive week with a hamstring problem. Jackson has been out since suffering a hamstring problem against the Chiefs on September 28th.
Since Lamar became the starting QB of Baltimore in 2018, the Ravens are 4-11 without him on the field. The franchise was defeated in their last 5 matches without Lamar and failed to score more than 17 points in each of those clashes.
Cooper Rush will replace him for 2nd straight week as boss John Harbaugh revealed today after the team’s training.
“We trust Rush and we believe in every footballer in our roster,” the Ravens head coach claimed after the practice. “I don’t have a doubt that we will be alright as I trust my players.”
Baltimore (1-4) has evened the worst start in organization history, and they will try to avoid their 1st 4-match losing streak since the end of 2021, when Lamar didn’t play because of an ankle problem.
Ravens officially ruled out QB Lamar Jackson for Sunday’s game vs. the Rams and will start QB Cooper Rush instead.
