Real Madrid beat Ath. Bilbao at San Mamés in La Liga opener

Real Madrid began the new campaign in La Liga with a 2-0 victory against Athletic Club at Estadio San Mamés in Bilbao.

Rodrygo scored the 1^st goal for the Royal club in the new season in the 28^th minute after Daniel Carvajal’s assist. Only 8 minutes later, Jude Bellingham, who came for a record fee from Borussia Dortmund during the summer, scored a very beautiful debut goal for Real and doubled the result before the end of the 1^st half after David Alaba’s assist.
