Real Madrid beat Villarreal 4-1 to take 1st place in La Liga

Real Madrid won against Villarreal 4-1 at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu. Ancelotti’s side overtook Girona’s to top the league but the Catalan side could be back in the 1^st place tomorrow when they will play their match from round 17.

The Royal club superstar Jude Bellingham headed the ball into the net in the 25^th minute after Luka Modric’s assist. Rodrygo doubled the lead of the home team near the end of the 1^st half.

The Yellow Submarine got back in the game when Jose Luis Morales scored in the 54^th minute to make his side’s trail only 1 goal, but only 10 minutes later, Brahim Diaz scored to make Real Madrid lead again 2 goals.

The veteran superstar Luka Modric netted in the 69^th minute to make Los Blancos lead 3 goals after Rodrygo’s assist.
