Real Madrid and Al Hilal drew 1-1 in Miami in the 1st match of both teams at the Club World Cup, as the Royal club had a fantastic opportunity to win it in extra time, but Valverde failed to score from a penalty.
Al-Hilal started the match very well and even had the greater chances, as the Saudi Arabian side even scored, but the goal was disallowed for offside.

However, Real Madrid needed only 1 great attack to take the lead in the match. Rodrygo provided a phenomenal pass inside the penalty area to Gonzalo Garcia, and the young forward made it 1-0 for Los Blancos in the 34th minute.
Inzaghi’s players refused to give up, and they evened the result before the end of the 1st half. The Saudi Arabian team received a penalty, and Ruben Neves converted it in the 41st minute for 1-1.
In the 2nd half, the tempo became slower as both teams had chances, but neither of them created a golden chance.
In the extra time, Los Blancos received a very controversial penalty as Valverde took it, but his shot was saved, and the result remained 1-1.
Kylian Mbappe missed the clash because the French superstar has a fever.
