According to reports from Spain, Real Madrid are huge fans of Chelsea’s right-back Reece James and will try to lure the young defender to Bernabeu.
James has shown real class of late as he proved to be one of Graham Potter’s finest players.
Real Madrid are looking to strengthen the right-back position and it is believed that the Chelsea’s man is high on the agenda.
However, signing him will be a difficult task even for a club of Real’s calibre. James recently signed a new six-year deal with the London team and the compensation fee to break it would be astronomical.
Chelsea are in need to sell players over the summer to balance their spendings under new owner Todd Boehly, but James is one of the players they will be fond to keep.
The full-back has recently picked another knee injury during International duty and was sent home prematurely. His season has been plagued by many injuries, but when fit the 23-year old has impressed a lot.
