Real Madrid will do everything possible to block the upcoming LaLiga clash in Miami between Villarreal and Barcelona after filing a 2nd complaint to CSD. The Royal Club shares that the match in the USA breaches competition fairness.
The complaint will at least delay the confirmation of the match between the Yellow Submarine and the Catalan giants in Miami. The CSD must 1st assess its authority to approve or halt games outside Spain. LaLiga shares that they don’t need such a green light from them to organize a match outside the country, but now Los Blancos are putting them in the game. At the same time, Villarreal and Barca are continuing to prepare for a clash in Florida, despite the match being in doubt.
The tension will be even higher as the weekend will be the 1st El Clásico this season between Real Madrid and Barcelona, and now the 2 teams not only fight for the top place in the league.
🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Real Madrid have submitted a formal document to the CSD in which they express their dissatisfaction of the Villarreal-Barcelona match being played in Miami, saying it degrades the competition.
