Red Bull boss Christian Horner predicted before the end of the 2023 Formula 1 season that we would witness a considerable number of new cars resembling Max Verstappen’s championship-winning RB19 in the upcoming world championship campaign.
Nevertheless, analysts anticipate a narrowing of the gaps in the field during the new season. Of course, we can expect to see cars resembling last year’s Red Bull, but the technical director of the champions, Pierre Wache, explained that this alone would not be sufficient to catch up with the leaders.
“I think it’s possible to copy, but it’s very important why you do it,” Wache explained. “If you don’t know why you’re doing it, then there’s no point; it’s better to continue working with what you know well.”
