Reinhart notches in OT as Panthers beat Rangers 3-2 in Game 4

The Florida Panthers couldn’t have demanded more in the overtime. Sam Reinhart, alone in the slot, on the power play and the matchup is evened 2-2.

Sam – the league’s power-play goal leader in the current season, notched his 65^th and most crucial goal of the campaign 1.12 into OT, and Florida Panthers defeated the NY Rangers 3-2 at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, FL, tying the East Conference finals at 2 matches apiece.

“If Reinhart is open, without a doubt, we want the puck to end with him,” shared Florida captain Aleksander Barkov, who provided the assist for the match-winner.

Verhaeghe and Sam Bennett also notched for the Panthers as Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 21 shots and also provided an assist.

Game 5 is Thursday in the Big Apple, where the franchises split the opening 2 games in the matchup. Game 6 will be at the beginning of the weekend.
