Aaron Rodgers’ recommendation to Zach Wilson was to air it out deep and to direct the disappointment of the past campaign into something beneficial.
The NY Jets 3rd year QB listened to his experienced teammate wisdom.
With Aaron unavailable, Zach started for New York, played great, and had a crucial play in their 21-16 defeat to the Cleveland Browns in the Pro Bowl Hall of Fame Match at Tom Benson Stadium.
The quarterback threw a 57-yard pass to WR Malik Taylor, 1 of the greatest moments he’s had in recent years on the field. In his previous match, at the end of December vs. Jacksonville Jaguars, Zach was booed off his own stadium.
“Amazing advice by Aaron Rodgers,” a happy Wilson shared of the Taylor play. “He had a role of that to happen, and I must give him a little shout-out there.”
“I’m very grateful to Rodgers,” Zach added. “Aaron helps me more than he needs to.”
“Great call by Aaron Rodgers” 😅
