After much time of speculation, QB Aaron Rodgers signed a reworked deal with the NY Jets.

Despite Aaron refusing to share details about his new contract, he shared today that he inked it, adding that it would become official after a few hours.
“The franchise gave up significant pieces for it to just be a 1-year contract,” the quarterback shared. “I know that. … Anything could happen with my body or our success this season, but I’m having a blast, so I really don’t want to spend only 1 campaign with the organization.”
To facilitate his exchange to the NFL franchise from the Big Apple, the QB restructured his deal with the Green Bay Packers during the offseason, pushing an almost 60 million dollars option bonus – fully guaranteed – into 2024, the final year of the contract.
The new deal will benefit the New York Jets, allowing more balance between the cap hits. Whether Aaron will get his 58.3 million dollar guaranteed bonus or has given up some of the money is still being determined.
