Ronaldo was one of the first big names to head to Saudi Arabia in January after Manchester United terminated his contract.
Since then many players have headed to the Middle Eastern country like Karim Benzema N’Golo Kante and Steven Gerrard as a manager.
The Portuguese has been linked with a return to Europe and specifically to his former club Real Madrid, but the 38-year-old confirmed that he will be staying with Al-Nassr.
Ronaldo indeed confirmed that he is not returning to Europe any time soon as he stated that a lot of the European leagues have lost their ‘credibility’.
“I’m 100 per cent sure I won’t return to any European club. I opened the way to the Saudi league and now all the players are coming here.” he said
“I won’t return to European football, the door is completely closed,”
“I’m 38-years-old, also European football has lost lot of quality. The only league that for me has a lot of quality and is at a higher level than all the others is the Premier League.”
