Rooney thinks Mbappe and Haaland time ‘has come’

Former England forward Wayne Rooney talked about the generational change in football. “We have been watching the era of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for a long time. Now it’s Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland’s turn. Erling is a real talent. You have to enjoy his capabilities even in a Manchester City shirt. It’s very rare to see such a prolific footballer,” Rooney told The Times.

Erling Haaland, 22, has made 42 appearances for Manchester City this season, scoring 48 goals and providing 6 assists.
