Luton Town have inked ex-Everton and Chelsea player Ross Barkley on a free transfer, from the team shared today.

Ross, who played 33 matches for the English National Team, spent last campaign in France with Nice, and the player shared after the end of the season that he is keen to return to England.
“Why Luton? Going from the Conference to the Premier League is a fantastic journey, and for myself to be back in the Premier League, it’s an incredible opportunity,” the midfielder shared after his transfer became official.
Barkley appeared in 28 matches for the Ligue 1 side in all tournaments in the past campaign, netting 4 goals. The England international played more than 200 matches in the Premier League with the Blues and the Toffees as he, scored 29 goals.
Luton is playing for the 1st time in its history in the Premier League, and Barkley could be crucial to help them to avoid relegation.
