Rublev beats Fritz 2:1 to reach final in Monte Carlo

Andrey Rublev, world number 6, won against Taylor Fritz, world number 10, and will play for the title at Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters.

The American won a very dramatic 1^st set 7-5 after breaking his opponent’s serve 4 times. However, the Russians regroup and trash Fritz 6-1 in the 2^nd set after converting 3 breakpoints.

Rublev won the deciding 3^rd set 6-3 after losing his serve once but breaking Fritz twice.

That was the 1^st match between them on clay.
