The American won a very dramatic 1st set 7-5 after breaking his opponent’s serve 4 times. However, the Russians regroup and trash Fritz 6-1 in the 2nd set after converting 3 breakpoints.
Rublev won the deciding 3rd set 6-3 after losing his serve once but breaking Fritz twice.
