Holger Rune, world number 6, defeated world number 23, Francisco Cerundolo, after a tiebreak in the final 5th set and reached the ¼ finals at the Roland-Garros.

Rune won the 1st set after a tiebreak 7-6 (3), but the Argentinian bounced back and triumphed in the 2nd set 6-3. Holger took the lead again after winning the 3rd set 6-4 but made a break after a very controversial call on a double bounce.
Francisco evened the match again after destroying Holger in the 4th set 6-1 after breaking his opponent’s serve 3 times.
In the deciding set, the player from Denmark came back from 3-4, 0-40 down, and won it after a tiebreak 7-6 (10-7).

Rune will face world number 4 Casper Ruud in the ¼ finals at the French Open.
