Jalen will be Bama’s QB1 ahead of the SEC opener.

The Alabama QB competition is finished at this stage.

Jalen Milroe, who began from the 1st minute in the 1st 2 matches of the campaign but did not appear vs. USF this last weekend, has “earned the chance to be the QB” in the future, manager Nick Saban shared with the media.

Tide starts SEC play vs. Ole Miss at their stadium during the weekend.

Nick claimed that Milroe had played better than Tyler Buchner and  Ty Simpson in competition and that putting him on the bench against USF greatly affected him.

“I will not share anymore about this topic,” Saban shared of the QB situation. “Jalen really showed the leadership I expected in terms of positively affecting his teammates.”

Jalen supported his teammates from the sideline as they were entering and leaving the match.
