Sacramento has been waiting for their opportunity to stand up to Golden State – as the Warriors dominated them in the past few years, as most recently, we need to remember the past campaign.
With only 10 seconds on the clock, Malik Monk squared up Andrew Wiggins, looking to pass him. Malik got himself just inside the free throw line and, off balance, scored for the Sacramento Kings’ 124-123 win against the Golden State Warriors. The triumph meant Sacramento advanced to the ¼ finals of the league’s new in-season tournament. But most importantly for the Kings, they finally defeated them in an important match, an organization that had put them down in recent years.

“We want to triumph. Our supporters are over the moon when we defeat Warriors,” De’Aaron Fox shared. “In a match this close, returning from down 24, you want the victory regardless of whether it’s a tournament clash.”
