New Orleans Saints right tackle Ryan Ramczyk will miss the entire 2024 season after being placed on the reserve/physically unable to perform list on Thursday. This move, anticipated due to Ramczyk’s ongoing knee issues, ends his season as he is a vested veteran placed on the list before final roster cuts.
Ramczyk, 30, was limited to 12 games in the 2023 season and underwent offseason surgery to address significant cartilage damage in his knee. He revealed late last season that he has been dealing with these cartilage issues for the past three seasons.

Earlier in his career, Ramczyk was regarded as one of the premier offensive linemen in the NFL, playing 63 games over his first four regular seasons. He earned first-team All-Pro honors in 2019 and was a second-team selection in both 2018 and 2020. Despite being limited to 10 games in 2021, Ramczyk managed to play in 16 contests in 2022, regularly undergoing injections to manage his knee pain.
