The San Antonio Spurs’ Keldon Johnson understood that all depended on him.
After a Victor Wembanyama basket to make his team within 1 point from the Phoenix Suns with 7 seconds on the clock, Phoenix player Josh Okogie passed the ball into Kevin Durant while Johnson lunged out of bounds trying to steal the ball.

San Antonio guard Tre Jones prevented Durant from advancing, as Kevin held the ball anticipating a foul from Spurs. However, Keldon came back into the play, stole the ball from Durant, and advanced with the basket to score with only 1 second remaining on the clock to give his franchise a 1-point lead.
That meant that San Antonio successfully completed a 20-point comeback to triumph with only 1 point difference against Phoenix – 115-114.
Spurs’ number 1 pick at the past NBA draft, Wembanyama, finished with 18 points, 8 boards, and 4 blocks.
