San Antonio Spurs top basketballer De’Aaron Fox is set to make his campaign debut vs. the New Orleans Pelicans tomorrow.
The Spurs’ star has rehabbed from an offseason hamstring problem and decided that he will make his debut in the current campaign this weekend.
San Antonio will now have the potential to be a contender for the top seeds in the Western Conference with the All-Star duo of Fox and Victor Wembanyama after just 5 matches and 120 total minutes together in the past campaign, after the Spurs’ deadline exchange for De’Aaron from the Kings.
Fox is the 1st of multiple San Antonio players who will return, as that shows the depth of the team. Rookie guard Dylan Harper will miss several weeks with a calf problem, and center Luke Kornet is expected to be available soon after healing an ankle sprain.
De’Aaron is 1 of just 2 basketballers to average 20 points, 5 assists, and 1 steal in each of his last 6 campaigns, along with the Lakers superstar Luka Doncic.
San Antonio is 5-2 before tonight’s match vs. the Rockets at home.
