McCaffrey, who suffered a rib problem in his team’s defeat to the Cleveland Browns during the weekend, underwent a scan at the beginning of the week.
49ers LT Trent Williams and WR Deebo Samuel also can be available for the organization in the upcoming match. San Francisco will decide who can be on the field and who will be sidelined throughout this week’s training process.
The wide receiver was forced to leave the match against the Vikings in the final minutes of the 1st quarter because of his shoulder problem, while the left tackle played through his ankle problem.
Christian left the clash in the 3rd quarter but returned for 1 play – a 6-yard run with just under 3 minutes left in the quarter. After that, he left and was sidelined for the rest of the clash.
