Scaloni shocked everyone with his words after Argentina’s 1-0 World Cup qualifying victory against Brazil in Rio de Janeiro.
Lionel led Lionel Messi and his teammates to the Copa America in 2021 before clinching the World Cup in Qatar in 2022.
“Argentina needs a manager who has all the energy possible and who is at his best,” claimed Scaloni.
“I need to stop for a moment and start thinking, and I have a lot of things on my chest that I must consider carefully.
“It’s not a final decision yet or anything, but I need to think because the level is very high, and it’s complicated to lead such an elite group of players, and it’s complicated to keep triumphing.”
