Argentina manager Lionel Scaloni has advised Leo Messi to continue to be on the pitch for “as long as he can.”
The Argentinian superstar (36), who finished his 1st campaign in Major League Soccer with Inter Miami, has not shared when he thinks about to stop playing football.
“We advise him [Leo] to play for as long as he can,” the Argentina national men’s football team boss admitted in an interview live on streaming service.
“Messi has proved that he doesn’t have an end. He still plays at the highest level and is the best footballer in the world. It’s fascinating.”
The manager also added that for Leo, playing football is a refuge.
“Messi is enjoying playing football,” Scaloni told. “Off the pitch, I think it’s not easy to be Messi because he leaves his home and can’t be left in peace. However, everything is different when he is on the pitch, and he enjoys it.”
Lionel Scaloni on Messi: “Leo Messi played with his heart at the World Cup, he was unstoppable. Seeing him up close is something impossible to describe, if I told you the things he does in training you wouldn’t believe me. He’s crazy.
