Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny spoke after the accident he suffered during the Europa League quarter-final first leg against Sporting Lisbon.
He left the field in fear after asking to be substituted because he felt pain in his chest. In the end, the Polish goalkeeper received confirmation that everything was fine on a cardiac and respiratory level.

“I’m fine. I’m a bit worried but I’ve done the tests and everything’s fine. I felt very scared, I’ve never had this feeling. I was short of breath but now I’m much better. The truth is I saw that Perrin is doing very well in training and managed to do this miracle at the last minute. I congratulated him, he is a precious boy, he never complains,” said Szczesny.
A little over a year ago Sergio Aguero had the same problem during Barcelona – Alaves and later he was diagnosed with heart condition that made him retire earlier than he’d planned.
