This triumph marked the Flames’ sixth comeback win when trailing after two periods, tying them with Colorado for the league lead in such come-from-behind victories.
Ottawa’s offensive efforts came from Jacob Bernard-Docker, Dominik Kubalik, and Brady Tkachuk. However, the Senators, currently on a challenging five-game road trip, suffered their fourth consecutive loss. Overall, they have faced difficulties on the road, losing nine of their last ten away games. Joonas Korpisalo made 30 saves for the Senators in the game.
