Former Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher believes Sergio Perez and Red Bull should part ways at the end of this season due to tensions between the Mexican and team-mate Max Verstappen.
“Sergio was strong in Azerbaijan and has the potential in individual races to be faster than Max. Sometimes when he is not happy with the car, he makes mistakes when he is under pressure. Verstappen doesn’t make those mistakes, so I think he’s the better driver if we look at their performance throughout the season.”

“There are a lot of rumors circulating in the paddock about Perez’s future,” added the German. – Red Bull has options: Yuki Tsunoda, Daniel Ricciardo is also here, there are also many drivers on the market. If there are problems in the relationship between Verstappen and Perez, then parting with the Mexican will sound meaningful. If you look closely, you will see that the two teammates do not get along well, and when such a situation exists, it is to the detriment of the team.”, Schumacher says.
