The linebacker will miss the upcoming season.

Philadelphia Eagles LB Shaun Bradley will be unavailable for the new season after tearing an Achilles in yesterday’s preseason opener vs. Baltimore Ravens.

Shaun took to social media to share the awful news that he won’t be able to play.

“Not how I wanted the campaign to end for me,” Bradley wrote. “But I believe that god truly gives his strongest soldiers his toughest battles.”

The problem came in the 3rd quarter of the 20-19 Eagles defeat, as the linebacker went to the ground while on punt coverage. All players on the field wished him the best before he was carted off the ground.

Bradley (26) has been a core special teams player for Philly, appearing in 2/3 of the special teams snaps in the past campaign. Shaun began 1 match in 3 campaigns at LB and has 45 career tackles.
