He was ready to pay double the market evaluation for the club

Sheikh Jassim has informed the Glazers that he’s ready to withdraw from the process of buying Manchester United after his latest proposal was rejected, Fabrizio Romano reports on Saturday.

According to the journalist, Sheikh Jassim has presented fully cash bid, clearing all old debt, with zero new debt, for 100% of the Club, but it was rejected by Glazers and he decided to put an end to his negotiations with United’s owners.

Rumors say that his offer was almost double than $3.5 billion market valuation – around 7 billion dollars. He also intended to add an obligation for $1.5 billion extra investment in the club in the future. Sheikh Jassim’s refusal to continue talks for United leave the club with no active bidders as Sir Jim Ratcliffe also decided to withdraw from negotiations.
