Marco blamed the referee for his team’s loss against Newcastle.

Fulham head coach Marco Silva shared official Sam Barrott “didn’t have the maturity to handle the pressure” in the London side’s 3-0 defeat against the Magpies.

Barrott showed the London team striker Raul Jimenez a red card after 22 minutes in today’s EPL clash at St James’ Park.

But Marco was mad that no action was taken vs. Jamaal Lascelles when he caught the Mexican 2 minutes before that.

“It was a really strange performance from the official from the 1st minute of the match until the end,” claimed Fulham’s boss.

“Lascelles cleared and elbowed Raul, and we did not get even a foul. I’m not saying he should have sent him off, but it was a clear foul. You need officials with experience and to be able to handle the pressure.”

The reporters asked him if the official was not experienced enough; Silva answered: “In my opinion, yes.”
