In the 1st 6 games of the 1st set, we saw 4 breaks – 2 from each of the players. However, until the end, neither could break his opponent’s serve, and the set was decided after a tiebreak. The Italian triumphed 7-4 points and closed the first set after 1 hour and 13 minutes.

In the 2nd set, however, Sinner dominated and broke Alcaraz’s serve 3 times while saving 5 from 5 chances of his Spaniard opponent breaking him. The result was 6-1 for Jannick in the 2nd set for the straight-set victory despite being an underdog vs. Carlitos.
